MEET THE TEAM

Patrick Adams

Patrick began playing hockey with the Cape Cod Canal in-house program in 2nd grade. He has played for the Canal Sharks (currently Peewee A) and the Cape Cod Seahawks 2012 Elite. He plays forward and loves to help his team score. His favorite players include: Connor McDavid, David Pastrnak, Cale Makar, Jack Hughes and Tim Stutzle. Patrick shares a birthday with another favorite player, Wayne Gretzky! Patrick will be in 7th grade next year.

Grady Homer

Grady has been with the Cape Cod Canal Sharks since age 5 and is currently a first year PeeWee defenseman. His favorite pro teams are the Bruins and the Kraken, and his favorite players are Pasta, Charlie Coyle and Matty Beniers. Grady really enjoys pond hockey when it’s cold enough outside! Grady will be in 6th grade next year.

Brody Darmon

Brody started playing hockey at age of 10. He has looked up to and admired the Sandwich Blue Knights hockey teams for years. Watching them go to TD Garden two times. His favorite hockey player is cousin, Ty Creigton, who is the center for the Blue Knights. Brody also play lacrosse and will be a goalie this year. Brody will be in 6th grade next year.

John Alicandro

John plays for the Baystate Breakers 2024 Elite Team. He is an offensive defenseman. He will be in 5th grade next year.

Zachary Walker

Zachary has been playing hockey since 4 years old. He started as a forward switching to goalie 3½ years ago. He is currently playing for the Seahawks Hockey Club as well as the Northern Cyclones. His team won the BHL American championship last year. He enjoys watching the Boston Bruins, especially watching Linus Ullmark in net. When not playing hockey he enjoys playing lacrosse and mentoring younger goalies. 

Zachary will be in sixth grade next year. 

John Bromley

John truly loves hockey. He has played since about 5 years old and currently plays for the cape cod canal sharks. He also plays for the Plymouth middle school team. His favorite team is the Boston Bruins. He will be in 7th grade next year.

Cayden Nardone

Cayden has played for Canal sharks since he was 4 years old. He comes from a big hockey family, so you could say "its in his blood". When not on the ice he plays basketball, lacrosse and soccer. He will be in 5th grade next year.

Henrik Glazener

Henrik has played hockey since age 4 when he did “Learn to Play” with the Anaheim Ducks. He grew up in Southern California, and has played for the Cape Cod Canal Sharks for two years. He’s a forward who plays smart hockey. Henrik continues to root for the Ducks even thought it’s hard to stay up for those west coast games. Henrik will be in 8th grade next year.

Thomas Maki

Tommy began playing hockey when he was five years old for the town of Barnstable. He continued playing for them until this year when he joined the 2013 Bridgewater Bandits Upper Gold Division as a defensemen, but enjoys getting the chance to play foward. Even during the summer, he spends more time on the ice than at the beach. Charlie McAvoy is his favorite NHL player. Once at a Bruins game, Tommy was lucky enough to get a fist bump from him during warm-ups. He will be in 6th grade next year.

Ronan Willette

Once he started lacing up for the Canal Sharks at the age of 4, Ronan Willette never looked back. A hard-working defensemen, Willette is a very coachable player given his eagerness and adaptability. He can easily jump in as goalie when needed. When he's off the ice, you may find him cheering on the Boston Bruins and his favorite player, Brad Marchand. Ronan will be in 5th grade next year.

Kelan Clements

Kelan expressed interest in hockey when we located here from Guam. 5 years old and never having been on the ice I wasn’t sure about it but he picked it up quickly and just loves everything about hockey! He has played with the Cape Cod Canal Sharks from the beginning. He loves playing offense but is also able to play defense. He’s quick, goes after the puck and is all in when playing. He will watch any hockey but loves the Bruins. He has also been following Connor Bedard, age 18, and is in awe of all of his 2023 goals. Kelan will be in 5th grade next year.

Brandon 'Brando' Mackinnon

Brandon has been playing hockey for the last 6 years. He is a true defense-men but can also transition to offense. His style is selfless, aggressive, and fun to watch. In 23'/24' Brandon played on the Bandits and Sharks respectfully. In season 22'/ 23' Brandon was on the Canal Sharks team that brought home the gold from Lake Placid, NY. Brandon is a great team player and can't wait till "we get to check". Off ice Brandon enjoys collecting sports cards, playing Fortnite, playing pickup football games, town baseball, hanging with friends, and riding his electric scooter. Brandon also enjoys math and his rubix cube. Brandon is a Bruins fan & also supports Irish Rugby. When away from hockey you can find Brandon on the lacrosse pitch. Brandon is a ambidextrous starting FOGO for Sandwich Lacrosse, Kings Lacrosse, and Nations Best regional team. Brandon would like to attend college as a student-athlete. He will be in 6th grade nest year.

Sean McDade

Sean started playing hockey at age 7. He has played for the Canal Sharks and Falmouth. Sean has an older sister who plays as well and he is always trying to keep up with her. Sean loves going to Bruins games with his family. His favorite player is Pasta! Sean will be a 5th grader next year.

David Kyttle

David has been playing hockey since he was about 4. He has played on byha, thunder, and currently the 2014 Seahawks. He is a goalie and has shown huge development and improvement this season. He has been working at mass crease and will be doing a summer program with them this off season. David will. bein 5th grade next year.

Sam Shevory

Sammy “snipes” Shevory is an offensive type of player who always snipes bardizzle. Sam currently plays for the 2012 Bandits UG and for Falmouth Youth Hockey. He looks up to Connor Bedard from the Chicago Blackhawk’s but is a loyal Bruins fan. Sam is a funny and kind teammate off and on the ice and loves fishing and playing baseball with the Sandwich All Stars. Sam will be a 6th grader next year.
